National Bank's notes-126 of #814th issue - floatation results

/IRBIS, June 3, 03/ - Today the National Bank of Kazakhstan (NBK) held the
814th auction for floatation of notes with KZT100 par value and 126-day what
is admitted by the new edition of "The rules of issue, floatation, circulation
and redemption of short-term notes of the National Bank of Kazakhstan",
which took effect since May 30 of 2003. Size of satisfaction of
noncompetitive bids is 50% of specified amount.
The auction was conducted with additional floatation, realized during the day.

Relative to the previous successful notes offering (KZW1KD918137, notes-
91 dated May 30, 03) demand increased by KZT6,193.2 m (1.6 times), actual
volume of satisfied bids - by KZT3,862.2 m (1.4 times), bonds' yield in
effective expression decreased from 5.52% APR to the figure, which is
shown in the table.
Results of floatation are the evidence of the fact that market waited for new
securities of the National bank and willingly admitted them. The very high
demand was caused by excessive short-term tenge liquidity at the market, it
significantly increased today due top big volume of dollar sales at KASE.
