Exchange simulator: trading volume from November 16 to December 4 reached KZT4,760.0 mln

/KASE, December 7, 2020/ – As announced earlier, a training competition "Exchange simulator", organized by Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) would be conducted from November 16 to December 15, 2020. Three-week trading volume (from November 16 to December 4) reached KZT4,760.0 mln. The average daily volume of deals in the mentioned period exceeded KZT340 mln. Currently, 1,078 students from more than 30 various educational institutions have registered to participate in the "Exchange simulator" project. The largest number of participants (181 users) is represented by students from the Eurasian National University L.N. Gumilyov. The most active users are students from the Kazakh-British Technical University – 71% of active participants. The goal of the project is to improve young professionals’ financial literacy and provide opportunity to develop some stock market practical skills. Students can trade the most liquid securities of Kazakhstan’s market, most of which are from KASE Index. At the beginning of trading, each participant is provided with a portfolio worth one million tenge for management. The main task of students is to have the best ultimate portfolio, which will determine the winners of the competition. This competition has been conducted by KASE group of companies since 2008.
