/KASE, November 26, 2020/ – National Company KazMunayGas based in Nur-
Sultan (securities, official list of KASE) has provided KASE with the following
press release dated November 25, 2020: “National Company KazMunayGas,
Kazakhstan's national vertically integrated oil and gas company, published its
brief consolidated interim financial results for the nine months of 2020
prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
34 "Interim Financial Reporting" for the nine months of 2020 including the
independent auditor’s review of its interim financial information.
Highlights for the nine months of 2020:
- Revenue for the nine months of 2020 amounted to KZT3,334 bn (USD8,147
mln), 35.0% less compared to the same period of 2019;
- EBITDA decreased by 43.2% compared to 9M2019 and amounted to KZT851
bn (USD2,081 mln);
- The Company's net profit in the reporting period decreased by 82.8% compared
to 9M2019 and amounted to KZT136 bn (USD333 mln). Profit for the period
attributable to Shareholders of the Parent Company amounted to KZT223 bn
(USD545 mln);
- Free cash flow amounted to KZT146 bn (USD357 mln);
- The Company's net debt as of September 30, 2020 amounted to USD6,217
mln, which is an increase of 0.7% compared to USD6,171 mln as of the end of
2019;
- Total debt as of September 30, 2020 decreased by 1.6% compared to
December 31, 2019 and amounted to USD9,867 mln.
