/KASE, November 20, 2020/ – AK Alatynalmas (Almaty), whose shares are officially
listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the
following press release of November 19, 2020:

JSC "AK Altynalmas" has started open pit mining at the Aksu deposit. Aksu ore
field is located in Akmola region. The deposit consists of six ore areas:
Zapadnyi, Tsentralnyi, Staratelskyi, Oktyabrskyi I, Oktyabrskyi II and
Budennovskyi.
By the efforts of JSC "AK Altynalmas", open pit mining started at Oktyabrskaya
II area of the Aksu deposit. The open pit design capacity is 5,000 thous. tons
of ore and 36,040 thous. tons of rock mass per year. It is expected that by the
end of 2020 ore production will be 260 thous. tons, and already in 2021 it is
planned to reach the planned production capacity of 5,000 thous. tons of ore
per year.
Mineral resources will be processed at its own gold recovery plant, the
completion of which is scheduled for the 2nd quarter of 2021.
