Today is the World Energy Efficiency Day.
In Kazakhstan, this important date is celebrated only the second year, after the
government decree in 2019, the law "On holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan"
was supplemented by a new paragraph: "Energy Efficiency Day - November 11".
As you know, the level of energy consumption in the world is growing. The
population of the planet no longer represents its full quality life without a
variety of home appliances, gadgets, office equipment, computers. Unfortunately,
this process has its downside - the depletion of natural resources, pollution of
the environment.
The international holiday was established to draw attention of the public and
authorities to the importance of energy saving.
Samruk-Energy, the largest power holding company in the country, as no one else
understands the relevance and importance of the topic of rational and careful
treatment of energy resources. The Company has developed and is implementing the
Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency Program. Its goal is to create conditions to
