Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan OJSC has been given international award "INTERNATIONAL GOLD MEDAL AWARD" for quality and effectiveness

/IRBIS, May 23, 03/ - Today Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan OJSC spread press- release which says that on May 22 of 2003 in London at the International meeting-conference "Global Rating Leaders 2003" Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan was given award "International Gold Medal Award" for quality and effectiveness. According to the bank's information, the award is given by the International Expert Council "Global Rating". The solemn ceremony of awarding was held in one of royal palaces of Great Britain Hampton Court Palace. The award "International Gold Medal Award" is given on various nominations and categories: - for leadership in the world economy and industry of countries; - for quality of production and rendering of services; - for effectiveness of management; - for reproachable business and professional reputation; - for contribution to the world civilization (firm of personally); - for dynamics of capitalization. As was noted by President of "Global Rating" Mr. Frank McGlinn, - "Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan has been given such the honorary international award in nomination "for quality of services rendering and effectiveness of management" on the basis of analyzing the company's activity for the last year and a half. Recently having become a commercial bank, top management of Halyk Bank took very big managing measures, and achieved impressive results. Awarding is held at regularly conducted international conferences "Global Rating Leaders". This year representatives of 111 companies and organizations from more than 30 countries were present during the rewarding ceremony. Republic of Kazakhstan was represented by such large companies as "Kazakhintorg", NC KTZh CJSC, Kazakhtelecom, KazTransOil CJSC. "Global Rating" is a member of International information-marketing center (IIMC). Conferring of awards and ratings by the expert council "Global Rating" gives the right for membership of a company-laureate in Global Rating Club, that gives opportunities for access to special information resources and additional services of the IIMC.
