/KASE, October 9, 2020/ – Following a decision of the Management Board of the
Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) of October 8, 2020, changes and amendments No.
11 (amendments) to internal document of KASE "Instruction on the Procedure for
Assigning Codes to Members of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange and their Accounts,
ssuers of Securities and Financial Instruments" (Instruction), which are put into
effect as of October 9, 2020, were approved.
The said amendments define the procedure for assigning codes:
- to the issuer of securities, which is a microfinance organization;
- to securities of investment funds of various types;
- to financial instruments planned to be admitted to the KASE Private Market.
In addition, the amendments have made clarifications to identify securities that
have two different ISINs due to the fact that such securities are subject to the
requirements for investors (holders) of international regulations Rule144A
(securities may be offered only to qualified U.S. holders upon placement) and
RegS (securities are not traded in the U.S. and are not acquired by U.S. residents).
