Conference of founders of Kazakhstan exporters Association was held in Almaty

/Kazakhstan today, April 21, 03/ - Conference of founders of Kazakhstan
exporters Association (KEA) was held in Almaty, informed the press-service of
European industrial association (EIA).
KEA's aim is representation of Kazakhstan exporters' interests in governmental
authorities abroad and joint actions, including on working out of coordinated
positions concerning matters of coordinated positions concerning the questions
of foreign trade activity. The association was founded with direct
participation of the minister of industry and trade of Kazakhstan.
During the first conference there were elected president and executive director
of KEA. They are vice-president of EIA Nikolai Radostovets and one of the
leaders of EIA's representatives in Astana Vladimir Morozov.
As was noted by Radostovets during his speaking, structural reforms in
industry, which are regulated by budget, credit, tax, trade and scientific
policy and also the system of government works are necessary in order to
support and expand Kazakhstan export potential.
For solving these tasks he offered to use direct government's investments
гaimed financing, granting of preferential loans, making of contracts for
development of new production and technologies, direct government's purchases
of high technological equipment, tax preferences and discounts, rules and norms
of Amortization, realization of aimed government programs.
In the opinion of the vice-minister of industry and trade of Kazakhstan Galym
Orazbekov, "most Kazakhstan enterprises, which have export potential, have
famine of information about markets, terms of trade, legislative regulation of
export-import operations. But, in order to promote their goods abroad, it's
necessary to conduct exhibitions, presentation, forums".
KEA's founders were Aluminium of Kazakhstan OJSC, SSOMPA, Almatinskiy
margarine plant OJSC, Hamle LTD, Defense-industrial technologies OJSC and
Shubarkol Komir OJSC. Besides, 10 more enterprises intended to become
members of the association.
