AK Altynalmas puts gold recovery plant Dolinnoye into commercial operation

/KASE, July 21, 2020/ – AK Altynalmas (Almaty), whose shares are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press release of July 17, 2020 in Kazakh and Russian: quote AK Altynalmas JSC has put into commercial operation the Dolinnoye gold recovery plant (hereinafter ZIF Dolinnoye) located at the project Aktogay, Karagandy region. Another step towards putting the production into operation was obtaining a permit from the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan for emissions into the environment for the period 2020-2029 (hereinafter – the Permit). According to the terms of the Permit, the company undertakes obligations to comply with the requirements of the Environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan; emission standards, environmental protection measures for the period of validity of the Permit. Let's remind that the production capacity of the new plant is 2,500,000 tons of ore per year.
