/KASE, June 6, 2020/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) notifies that trading in ordinary shares KZ1C00001619 (KASE main market, category "standard", KZAP) and global depository receipts (GDR) US63253R2013 (sector "derivative securities", KZAPd_US) of National Atomic Company Kazatomprom (Nur-Sultan) has been suspended on KASE today until 13:00 Almaty time (ALT) in accordance with item 1 of Article 25 of KASE internal document "Listing Rules". Trading was suspended following the receipt of the letter from Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund about the intention to sell additional shares and GDRs of National Atomic Company Kazatomprom on international and local markets through accelerated subscription. It says in this letter that "To ensure that the Shares and GDRs of the Company are not publicly traded during international and local subscription, the subscription will be conducted after close of market in London and the trading in Shares and GDRs of the Company on AIX will be suspended on June 3, 2020 (prior to opening of trading on the LSE at 8:00 London time) until 13:00 Nur- Sultan time."
