Deals on promissory notes of Almaty Kus OJSC (Kazakhstan) have ben made at KASE

/IRBIS, February 27, 03/ - On Wednesday, February 26 at Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) first deals on promissory notes of Almaty Kus OJSC (Chapayevo settlement, Almaty oblast) have been made, trades in which had been opened at the stock exchange on that day. Settlements on the made deals are to be made in full volume on February 28. We're reminding that trades in the promissory notes at KASE were opened by the decision of stock exchange's Council since March 4 of 2002. Trades are held since 11:30 a.m. till 5:30 p.m. of Almaty time on working days by direct deals making method. I.e. it is actually the matter of deals registration at KASE and conducting of settlements through the stock exchange but not a trade as such. Pervious series of deals in promissory notes was held at KASE almost year ago - March 13 of 2002. Participants worked with securities of NAC Kazatomprom CJSC (N_KATP). Volume of two conducted transactions with 8 promissory notes was KZT3,570,999.98. On the basis of KASE's internal document "Rules of deals making in promissory notes", which has been approved by the decision of stock exchange's Council dated February 8 of 2002, the following have been included into the List of payers on promissory notes at the stock exchange by the moment: - Kazakhtelecom OJSC (Astana, promissory notes' trade code - N_KZTK); - NAC Kazatomprom (Almaty, code - N_KATP); - NC KTZh CJSC (Astana, code - N_TMJL); - KEGOC OJSC (Astana, code - N_ KEGC); - SSOMPU OJSC (Rudniy, Kostanai oblast, code - N_SSGP); - Almaty Kus OJSC (code - N_ALKS). Banks, which are stock exchange's members on "В" category (the right to participate in trades in foreign currencies) and (or) "К" (the right to participate in trades in Government securities), and also non-banking organizations, which are the stock exchange's members on "Р" category (the right to participate trades in corporate securities) are admitted to trades in promissory notes at KASE.
