KazTransOil CJSC informed about expanded meeting of the Board, which was held on January 31 of this year

/IRBIS, February 4, 03/ - Press-service of KazTransOil CJSC (Astana), which's bonds are traded at Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) under official "А" listing category, has distributed press-release, which says about expanded meeting of the Board of KazTransOil CJSC, which was held on January 31 of 2003, in which representatives of the company's Board of directors, Directors of branches and chiefs of oil pipeline departments took part. Within the framework of the Board's work there were examined results of the company's financial and economics and production activity for 2002, questions of environment protection, security and protection of labor; and also presentation of Production Program of KazTransOil CJSC for 2003 was held. One of the key themes in the agenda of the Board's meeting was preliminary discussion of perspective planning of the company's development for the period 2004 - 2006 and systems of tariff formation. Work at these questions, as was decided by the Board's participants, will be continued jointly with the company's structure branches and, in the futures, given for examination to NC KazMunaiGas CJSC. Besides, according to latest changes, which were included into anti-monopolistic legislation of Kazakhstan, the company intends to turn to Kazakhstan agency on regulation of natural monopolies and protection of competition with the statement about re-examining of tariffs for oil transportation since October 1 of 2003. Besides, the press-release says about some results of the company's activity according to results of 2002. According to the latest data volume of oil transportation by the system of KazTransOil CJSC in 2002 equaled to 30,317 th. tons of oil. Oil turnover - 24,803 m tons/km. As regards major repairs of fixed assets the company had fulfilled works for KZT3,141 m and works on capital investments for KZT16,691 m. According to results of work in 2002 KazTransOil CJSC paid KZT14,219 m to the budget, including: corporate income tax- KZT9,362 m; individual income tax - KZT1,070 m; other taxes and payments - KZT3,787 m. In comparison with 2001 payments to the budget have increased by KZT4,620 m. [2003-02-04]
