EBRD RAISES KZT116.0 BN ON KASE BY PLACING SEVEN-YEAR BONDS XS2093223076 (EBRDK191226) AND EIGHT-YEAR XS2093242530 (EBRDK191227) INTERNATIONAL BONDS

/KASE, December 19, 2019/ – As announced earlier, an initial offering of the following issuances of Eurobonds of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development was conducted in the module "Subscription" of the trading system of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) on December 13, 2019: - XS2093223076 (EBRDK191226, KZT1, KZT58.0 bn, 19.12.19 – 19.12.26, inflation rate-indexed semi-annual coupon: inflation+margin, actual/360) - XS2093242530 (EBRDK191227, KZT1, KZT58.0 bn, 19.12.19 – 19.12.27, inflation rate-indexed semi-annual coupon: inflation+margin, actual/360). Tengri Partners Investment Banking (Kazakhstan) (Almaty) acted as the seller during the subscription to these bonds. The nominal volume of each issuance – up to KZT58.0 bn (58,000,000,000 pieces at face value of KZT1). As the price an order would indicate the value of a fixed margin to the semi-annual coupon rate in percentage of the face value of the bond with accuracy of up to second decimal place. In case of market bids, the "market yield" was indicated as the price. The semi-annual coupon rate depends on the inflation rate in Kazakhstan. In the subscription terms there were no limitations for buyers with regard to the maximum number of bonds in submitted orders. Two KASE members took part in the offering. A total of 30 limit orders for purchase of seven-year bonds XS2093223076 (EBRDK191226) in the nominal amount of KZT58.0 bn and a total of 30 limit orders for purchase of eight-year bonds XS2093242530 (EBRDK191227) in the nominal amount of KZT58.0 bn were submitted to the trading system, with all of them recognized as active as of the end of order collection. The rate of the margin to the semi-annual coupon in all orders submitted made up 0.75 %. As a result of the offering, the issuer executed all active orders, thus placing the entire volume in the amount of KZT116.0 bn. The rate of the margin to the semi-annual coupon was fixed at 0.75 %. According to the Central Securities Depository (Almaty), all deals based on results of the subscription were settled by the moment of this publication, the subscription is finished. [2019-12-19]
