Number of individuals’ accounts involved in transactions with shares on KASE dropped by 17.4 % in September

/KASE, October 16, 2019/ – In September 2019, the number of accounts of individuals involved in transactions with shares on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) decreased by 17.4% compared to the previous month. The share of individuals in gross turnover of shares in monetary terms rose to 56.4% from 47.3% in August 2019. As of the end of September, there were 120,414 personal accounts opened by individuals at the Central Securities Depository (hereinafter – CSD), which is by 344 accounts more than at the end of the previous month.
