In November of 2002 transactions volume on GS at KASE in all sectors of the market totaled KZT433.6 bn and increased by 52.1% relative to October

/IRBIS, December 2, 02/ - In November of year 2002, deals volume on GS at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) in all sectors of the market accounted for 2,261 deals for the total amount of KZT433,639.8 m ($2,808.9 m). Last month at 1,869 deals the volume reached KZT285,093.0 m ($1,846.4 m). For the month exchange turnover of GS increased by 52.10% in tenge and 52.13% in dollar. Relative to November of 2001 the exchange turnover rose 2.5 times (by KZT259.4 m). In the sale-purchase sector 301 deals were made for total amount of KZT34,281.8 m. In comparison with previous month a turnover in the sector increased by 41.3%. In November the share of the Exchange's turnover in total volume of the deals made on the Kazakhstan secondary market of GS based on comparable transactions (including repo deals) equaled 94.5%, in October - 89.4%.
