Aliance-Bank OJSC (Kazakhstan) has increased its authorized capital by 54% due to new shares issue

/IRBIS, November 13, 02/ - Today Aliance-Bank OJSC (Almaty) distributed information about the fact that the company had increased its paid authorized capital from KZT1.3 bn to KZT2 bn. Thus, the bank has become one of eight largest Kazakhstan banks according to the size of authorized capital. It is informed that this project was made by means of additional issue of common inscribed shares with face value of KZT10,000 and 82,087 in number and their floatation at Kazakhstan market. The decision about additional shares issue was made on November 30 of 2001 at prescheduled general shareholders meeting of Aliance-Bank OJSC. According to the distributed information a number of Kazakhstan companies have become new shareholders of Aliance-Bank OJSC, among which Rakhat OJSC (the largest producer of confectionery in Kazakhstan), group of companies "Ant" (one of the major suppliers of equipment for enterprises of oil and mining sectors of economics), and also Invest Consult CJSC (engineering and conducting of modern methods of building at CIS market). Since the beginning of this year assets of Aliance-Bank OJSC increased 2 times as much having equaled as of November 8 of 2002 to KZT17 bn. The bank's deposit portfolio increased since the beginning of the year more than 2 times as much having equaled as of November 8 of 2002 to KZT11.6 bn.
