KazTransOil announces normal mode of oil transportation over Atyrau-Samara pipeline

/KASE, April 29, 2019/ – KazTransOil (Nur-Sultan), whose shares are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following press release of April 29, 2019: quote In connection with the circulating information about the detection of impurities in the oil transported through the trunk pipeline system of "Transneft" PJSC that excess 10 times and more the mass fraction of organic chlorides, KazTransOil JSC reports that oil is transported via the Atyrau-Samara pipeline in normal mode. The Company fulfils contractual obligations to Kazakhstan shippers. In particular, the transhipment of oil of Kazakhstani producers to the system of the trunk pipeline PJSC Transneft for further shipment from the port of Ust-Luga was ensured in full amount and of adequate quality. The indicator of the mass fraction of organic chlorides corresponds to GOST – not more than 3.3 ppm. Up to date, crude oil of Kazakhstani companies, delivered to the port of Ust- Luga, was loaded to the "Prometheus Light" tanker. The next batch of oil from Kazakhstan will be loaded to the "Montego" tanker today, on April 29, at 17:00 Moscow time. Given that the transportation of oil via the Atyrau-Samara oil pipeline was not suspended, "KazTransOil" JSC has no financial losses.
