Weekly net borrowing balance of the National Bank of Kazakhstan at GS market is positive KZT3,573.6m, of all issuers - negative KZT97.2m

/IRBIS, October 18, 02/ - By IRBIS estimation, the National Bank of Kazakhstan ended the forty second calendar week (October 14 - October 20) of the year 2002 on domestic GS primary market with following parameters. With the volume of redemption of KZT5,747.9m the issuer attracted at three auctions KZT9,321.5m. The net borrowing balance of the National Bank of Kazakhstan by IRBIS estimation totaled positive KZT3,573.6m. Weekly net borrowing balance of all GS issuers (including coupon payment on eurobonds of the third issue) by the estimation of IRBIS totaled negative KZT97.2m.
