/KASE, March 14, 2019/ – Subsidiary Bank Sberbank of Russia (Almaty), whose bonds are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided the KASE with press release dated March 14, 2019, which states as follows: quote As part of the state Road map 2020 program Sberbank has approved a project of a domestic manufacturer of rechargeable batteries, Kainar-AKB LLP (Taldykorgan), for the amount of more than KZT 1 billion. The history of Taldykorgan lead-acid battery plant began in 1970, five years later the first 6ST-75EM rechargeable battery was released. Within a short time, a wide range of serial production was launched, thanks to which Taldykorgan lead- acid battery plant ranked in the TOP-5 rechargeable battery manufacturer in the USSR. Until today, the company has gone through several stages: the transition to a market economy, the search for the best ways of development, and, finally, the phase of formation and prosperity.
