/KASE, March 13, 2019/ – In January–February 2019 the volume of trading on the money market of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including the repo transactions market and currency swap market, made up KZT18,626.5 bn decreasing by 11.0 % YoY 2018. In comparison with the previous two-month period (November–December) of 2018, the amount of trades increased by 3.1%. The table below shows the amount of trades on KASE's money market in 2019 (as opposed to the turnover, this indicator accounts only for amounts raised on the repo transactions market and currency swap market) by main sectors, and comparative data of 2018.
