Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan OJSC presents its new service of the world standard at pension market of Kazakhstan

/IRBIS, October 1, 02/ - Today Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan (Almaty) distributed press-release, in which it informs that Accumulative pension funds of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan renders a new service to a wide ranges of society - receiving by the Fund's depositors of information about the states of their individual pension accounts (IPA) through the system "Internet-Banking" of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan. The service, which has been introduced since September 1, on presenting of extracts from IPA through the network of cash dispensers of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan, which many owners of plastic cards of Halyk Bank could use and who submitted applications for using the rendered service to the branches of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan or representatives of the Fund, works for the first month. The new service of international standard now works semi-functional mode for clients, who have Internet-account in Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan. The Fund's depositors, who do not have it, can open such the account since October 1 of 2002. The will have access to the information after registration of the account in the system "Internet-banking". The service through Internet has a number of advantages in comparison with the service, which is rendered by cash dispensers. It is also informed in the press-release that the extract, which is already given in "Internet-Banking", besides the rest on IPA, contains information about last 10 transactions on pension account for any period of time, starting from the first pension fee. I f necessary, the extract can be attested in the Fund's representatives. This is the pilot introduction of services of two types, which have improved the quality of service and which give to the Fund's investors access to the information. In the future such services will be perfected. At present work on expansion of the possibility of receiving information by owners of plastic cards of other banks and on increasing of volume of informational provision is being carried out already.
