In September of 2002 transactions volume on GS at KASE in all sectors of the market totaled KZT296.9bn and increased by 32.4% relative to August

/IRBIS, October 1, 02/ - In September of year 2002, deals volume on GS at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) in all sectors of the market accounted for 1,599 deals for the total amount of KZT296,904.7m ($1,920.7m). In last month at 1,790 deals the volume did not exceed KZT224,251.0m ($1,453.0m). For the month exchange turnover of GS increased by 32.4% in tenge and 32.2% in dollar. Relative to September of 2001 the exchange turnover rose 3.4 times (by KZT1,360.1m). In the sector of primary floatation effective specialized trades on floatation of East-Kazakhstan oblast's municipal bonds of the second issue (KZF2KY030021, trade code of KASE - VKU036.002; $100.700m, Aug 10, 02 - Aug 8, 05, semi-annual coupon 8.50% APR) have been conducted. There has been made one deal in the total amount of KZT309.0m. In the sale-purchase sector 293 deals were made for total amount of KZT33,883.4m. In comparison with previous month a turnover in the sector increased by 87.4%.
