/Kazakhstan today, September 16, 02/ - New consignors of goods have joined
the system of Caspian pipeline consortium (CPC). The decision about this was
made in Moscow on September 13. Press-secretary of CPC in Moscow Vladimir
Buyanov informed correspondent of KZ-today.
Kazakhstan-American JV "Arman" got down today to oil transportation for export
by CPC pipeline system. Till the end of the year the company intends to
circulate and unload through sea terminal more than 100 th. tons of hydrocarbon
raw stuff.
CPC shareholder - "Orix Caspian Pipeline LLC" (which is a part of American
group of companies "Kerr Macgi Oil and Gas corporation") uses its right for oil
circulation throufg CPC for transportation of raw stuff of Arman JV. "Keer
Macgi" is also one of its shareholders. At present Arman JV develops "Arman"
field in the West of Kazakhstan.
Agreement about oil transportation between CPC and Torgoviy dom
"KazMunaiGas" LLP (daughter enterprise of NOC of Kazakhstan "KazMunaiGas")
is being developed, which will transport oil, which is produced by Embamunaigas
OJSC, towards the shareholder's share from the Government of Kazakhstan.
Two lines of the pipeline with the strength of 1.5 km, which connected oil
circulating stations of KazTransOil and CPC, have been made in Atyrau in order
to connect new consignors of goods to the system of CPC.
