KASE SUMMARIZES RESULTS OF COMPETITION AMONG RETAIL INVESTORS ON EQUITY MARKET

/KASE, December 21, 2018/ – As announced earlier, from November 1 to December 14, 2018 Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) conducted a competition among retail investors on the equity market. On December 26, 2018 KASE will hold the award ceremony for the following participants who earned the highest final yield: I place – Galym Ibraev – "The best investor of 2018", client of Centras Securities JSC (yield – 13.7 %); II place – Aleksandr Kim, client of Freedom Finance JSC (yield – 8.6 %); III place – Nurgazy Smagulov, client of Freedom Finance JSC (yield – 8.2 %). At the same time KASE will award a prize to the "Most active investor", Sabit Myrzakhanov, client of Freedom Finance JSC (1,037 transactions). The winners will be awarded valuable prizes – a notebook, tablet PCs, smartphones, computer bags and powerbanks. More than 200 retails investors took part in the competition. They concluded 2,588 deals in the amount of more than KZT256 mln, with the best yield making 13.7 %. Freedom Finance and Eurasian Capital acted as partners of KASE.
