KazTransGaz intends to start constructing gas pipeline Amangeldy - Taraz in the nearest future

/Kazakhstan today, September 03, 02/ - KazTransGaz CJSC intends to start constructing gas pipeline field Amangeldy - Taraz. It was informed to KZ-Today by the press-service of the company on September 03. According to the information of KazTransGaz CJSC, all design works in Amangeldy gas field in Zhambyl oblast are at the final stage. By results of seismic investigation maps of three-dimensional field parameters were made. Boring of three out of four evaluation wells was finished. Two of them are in operation; one is temporarily closed down till the period of the production exploiting. The construction of the fourth well is almost finished. In total 17 operation wells will be drilled on the field. Contractor on construction of remaining 13 wells by results of tender became company Kazburgaz. All works on construction of wells are planned to finish in 2003. Projects, related to exploiting, building of gas pipeline from the field to Taraz and delivery of marketable gas to consumers, are handed for expertise. The first lot of pipes assigned for construction of gas pipeline had already delivered to Taraz. Its construction will be also held KazstroyPromtehmontazh.
