In January–September 2018 trading volume on KASE money market decreased by 23.6 % to KZT82.4 trln

/KASE, October 16, 2018/ – In January–September 2018 the volume of trading on the money market of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including the repo market and the currency swap market, made up KZT82,419.5 bn decreasing by 23.6 % against the similar period of 2017. In comparison with previous nine-month period (April–December) of 2017, the trading amount decreased by 17.4%. The tables below show the volume of trades on KASE money market in 2018 (as opposed to the turnover, this indicator accounts only for amounts raised on the repo and currency swap market) by main sectors, and comparative data of 2017.
