Bank of Astana excluded from KASE members by "currency" category

/KASE, September 27, 2018/ – By the decision of Board of Directors of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), Bank of Astana was excluded from members of KASE in "currency" category as of September 27, 2018. This means that Bank of Astana is no longer a member of KASE and not allowed to trade on KASE in foreign currencies. This decision was taken in accordance with sub-items 4) of item 1 of Article 12 of KASE internal document "Regulations on Membership" based on the Resolution of Board of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 18, 2018. According to the Resolution, the Bank of Astana’s license to conduct banking and other transactions No. 1.1.32 dated April 20, 2015 issued by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan was revoked.
