KASE, September 26, 2018/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) announces that as
of September 27, 2018 the following securities of Bank of Astana (Almaty) were
removed from KASE official list:
- ordinary shares KZ1C56630011 (KZ1C00001023, KASE main market, category
"premium", ABBN);
- bonds KZP01Y05E863 (KZ2C00003085, KASE main market, category "bonds", ABBNb1);
- bonds KZP01Y10F183 (KZ2C00003515, KASE main market, category "bonds", ABBNb2).
The KASE conclusion report dated September 20, 2018 says that the rationale behind
considering possible delisting of these securities is the fact that the procedure
of involuntary liquidation of Bank of Astana has been initiated by the National
Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Based on the above and in accordance with sub-item 8) of item 1 of Chapter 3 of
Appendix 2.2 to KASE's internal document "Listing Rules", these securities were
delisted.
By the decision of the KASE Management Board trading in these securities in KASE
trading system were suspended as of September 19, 2018.
