Samruk-Energy updated on performance of wind turbine in Ereimentau

KASE, September 3, 2018/ – Samruk-Energy (Astana), whose bonds are officially
listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with the following
press release:

The first industrial wind turbine in Kazakhstan was commissioned three years
ago near the town of Ereimentau in Akmola region.
In August 2015 the facility was officially commissioned. On December 11, 2015
during the National teleconference "New industrialization of the country: Leap
of Kazakhstan Panther" the Leader of the state N. Nazarbaev was informed about
the start of industrial operation of the wind turbine.
Since then the wind turbine of a capacity of 45 MWt has generated over 500 mln
kWt*h of energy. The project was implemented by First Wind turbine LLP, a
subsidiary of Samruk-Energy; it contributes a lot to the balancing Akmola
regions' needs for electricity and to protecting the environment.
