/KASE, August 15, 2018/ – Subsidiary Bank Sberbank of Russia (Аlmaty), whose bonds
are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE
with press release dated August 15, 2018 which states as follows:

Sberbank has been named the Most Innovative Digital Bank among consumer
banks of Central and Eastern Europe by Global Finance magazine. This award
measures how actively financial organisations use cutting-edge technology and
the latest approaches for servicing customers.
Sberbank also won the category Best in Social Media Marketing & Services,
which recognises the work of banks with the most innovative and effective
digital communications projects.
Also, Sberbank topped the category Best SMS/Text Banking for the fourth time.
This category focuses on the functionality and convenience of SMS banking
services.
Global Finance considered factors that range from the quantitative objective to
the informed subjective. Objective criteria considered included: strength of
strategy for attracting and servicing digital customers, growth of digital
customers, breadth of product offerings, and development of new areas of
business and innovative services. Subjective criteria included the opinions of
analysts, banking consultants and others involved in the industry at an
international level. Winners of the awards were chosen in more than 150
countries across Africa, Asia-Pacific, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin
America, the Middle East, North America and Western Europe.
Earlier this month, Global Finance magazine named Sberbank’s digital corporate
banking solution the best in Russia. Also, Sberbank came first in three other
corporate client categories in Central and Eastern Europe: Best Online Portal
Services, Best Integrated Corporate Bank Site, and Most Innovative Digital
Bank.
