/Kazakhstan today, July 05, 02/ - For the first half-year crude ore mining in
Sokolovsko-Sarbaski ore mining and processing production association OJSC
(SSOMPPA) totaled 13,241 th. tons, which is 100.4% of a budgeted figure.
As it is noted in the report, in June 2002 2,429 th. tons of crude ore was
mined by SSOMPPA OJSC, which is 100.4% of a budgeted figure.
According to information of SSOMPPA, in June 2002, relative to similar month of
the previous year dolomite mining grew by 26.7%. From January to June of this
year 224 th. tons were extracted. In the first half-year the enterprise
increased limestone extraction by 47.4% to 252 th. tons.
Crude ore processing in June of this year totaled 2,430 th. tons. Budget was
executed at 100.5%. From the beginning of 2002 SSOMPPA OJSC processed
13,440 th. tons of raw ore (100.6%).
Commodity ore production in June reached 1,100 th. tons. For the first
half-year commodity ore production reached 6,070 th. tons. As a result of
budget surplus of the present position totaled 102%.
In June 2002 relative to 2001 pellets production grew by 12.6% to 688 th. tons.
In the first half-year SSOMPPA produced 3,510 th. tons of pellets. 101.9% -
budget surplus, which increased by 15% relative to the previous year.
In June 2002 consumers of SSOMPPA OJSC products received 843 th. tons.
During 6 months of the current year 5,431 th. tons were shipped to buyers.
Shipment was conducted at 100% of budget.
