In January-July 2018 trading volume on KASE money market decreased by 28.2 % to KZT65.0 trln

/KASE, August 9, 2018/ – In January-July 2018 the volume of trading on the money market of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including the repo market and currency swap market, made up KZT65,021.5 bn decreasing by 28.2%. against the similar period of 2017. In comparison with previous seven-month period (June-December) of 2017, the volume of trades on the money market decreased by 8.2 %. The table below shows the volume of trades on KASE money market in 2018 (as opposed to the turnover, this indicator accounts only for amounts raised on the repo market and currency swap market) by main sectors, and comparative data of 2017.
