/KASE, July 18, 2018/ – July 17, 2018 Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE or the
Exchange) held a press conference on the results of the exchange market for the
first half of 2018.
According to the results of the first half of 2018, the volume of exchange
trades made up KZT64.8 trln, which is lower by the same period last year by
KZT23.8 trln., or 26.9%. However, several segments of the market demonstrated
positive dynamics. The growth was demonstrated by the securities market (2.3
times) and the market of foreign currencies (+24.2%), the decline was shown by
the money market (-31.4%).
