/KASE, 14.06.18/ – "Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan" JSC (Almaty) and "Kazkommertsbank" JSC (Almaty) provided Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) with an information about the following: quote begins The joint stock company "Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan" (hereinafter referred to as "Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan" JSC) and the joint stock company "Kazkommertsbank" (hereinafter referred to as "Kazkommertsbank" JSC) shall inform, including all of its depositors, customers, correspondents, borrowers and creditors, on obtaining the permission of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the voluntary reorganization of "Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan" JSC and "Kazkommertsbank" JSC by joining "Kazkommertsbank" JSC to "Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan" JSC. Chairman of the Board of "Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan" JSC Umyt Shayakhmetova commented on this event: "We have approached to the key stage of integration of the two banks. The work we have done during these months, in our view, is unprecedented, by looking at the scale and complexity, and at the speed with which it happened. With the additional capitalization of "Kazkommertsbank" JSC, we were able not only to improve the financial performance of the two banks, but also to begin their integration in terms of combining IT systems, branch networks, infrastructure, technologies, best product solutions and internal processes. Now we have to complete all the necessary legal procedures and the unification of the technical migration of customer accounts". In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan" JSC, after signing the transfer act between the banks, will fully be in charge for obligations to creditors and depositors transferred from "Kazkommertsbank" JSC, including maintaining the transferred bank accounts of clients and depositors in full volume and with preservation of all conditions established by the contracts concluded by "Kazkommertsbank" JSC. Extraordinary and joint general meetings of shareholders of "Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan" JSC and "Kazkommertsbank" JSC were convened to take decisions on approval of the transfer act on July 26, 2018.
