/IRBIS, June 3, 02/ - During first five months of 2002 volume of corporate
securities (CS) transactions made at Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE)
reached an equivalent of $195,839.7th, or KZT29,825.2m and compared to
similar period of last year increased by $112,562.9m (KZT17,700.7m) or
2.35 times.
In 2001 volume of CS transactions at KASE was an equivalent of
USD505.8m or KZT74,784.4m.
