/KASE, May 16, 2018/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE or Exchange) notifies
that a media briefing was held today, during which the Exchange informed
representatives of mass media about main highlights of the exchange market
performance in April 2018.
The total trading volume on KASE for April 2018 amounted to KZT 9.9 trillion and
decreased 2.1% or KZT212 bn compared to the previous month.
The securities and money markets were down 12 % and 9.5%, respectively, whereas
the volume of trading in foreign currencies has increased by 89.2%.
