Bank of Astana says that Standard & Poor's has lowered bank’s ratings

/KASE, May 5, 2018/ – Bank of Astana (Almaty), whose securities are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided the following press release to KASE: quote Given recent developments around the Bank of Astana including unexpected liquidity outflow and restrictions introduced on May 2 on client’s cash withdrawal operations, S&P Global Ratings lowered its long- and short-term issuer credit ratings on the Bank of Astana to 'D/D' (default) from 'CCC/C'. Also, Kazakh national scale rating on the bank was lowered to 'D'.
