Weekly net borrowing balance of National Bank on GS market - positive KZT2,587.1m , for all issuers - negative KZT65.7m

/IRBIS, April 05, 02/ - According to preliminary estimates of IRBIS, the National Bank of Kazakhstan (NBK) ended fourteenth week (April 01 - 07) of the year 2002 on the GS primary market with following results. With actual repayment amount of KZT1,483.4m the issuer raised KZT4,070.5m at two auctions. Weekly net borrowing balance of the NBK is estimated by IRBIS at positive KZT2,587.1m. Weekly balance of all GS issuers (including payment of coupon on second issue euronotes) is estimated by IRBIS at negative KZT65.7m. In case of receiving by IRBIS agency of additional information on notes maturity the data if necessary will be corrected on Monday. [2002-04-05]
