State budget revenues to exceed annual plan by 24% in first 3 months - vice-premier

/IRBIS, Apr 3, 02/ - Kazakhstan today informs, with the reference to the vice-
premier, minister of finance, Aleksandr Pavlov, that by preliminary data, state
budget revenues to exceed annual plan by 24.3% in first 3 months of 2002,
at KZT172.4bn.
He also said that expenses figures of the budget in first quarter of this year
would be "much worse" because, as he said, "implementators of the
budgetary programs were not ready for the excess of money", since "they
were used to live under a total deficit". This situation is said to negatively
affect the whole budgeting process, he added.
