In December the number of accounts of individuals involved in transactions with shares on KASE increased by 18 per cent

/KASE, January 19, 2018/ – In December 2017, the number of accounts of individuals involved in transactions with shares on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) has increased by 18 % as compared to the previous month. The percentage of individuals in the gross turnover of shares in monetary terms decreased to 58.0% from 60.1% in November 2017. As of the end of January, there were 109,245 personal accounts opened by individuals at the Central Securities Depository (hereinafter – CSD), which is by 203 accounts more than at the end of the previous month and by 3,926 accounts more than at the beginning of 2017.
