In March of 2002 transactions volume on GS at KASE in all sectors of the market totaled KZT240.0bn and increased by 17.7% relative to February

/IRBIS, Apr 01, 02/ - In March of year 2002, deals volume on GS at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) in all sectors of the market accounted for 1,585 deals for the total amount of KZT239,970.5m ($1,576.4m). In last month at 1,409 deals the volume didn't exceed KZT203,903.9m ($1,340.8). For the month exchange turnover of GS increased by 17.69%. Relative to March 2001 the exchange turnover rose 3.8 times (by KZT176,706.6bn). In the sale-purchase sector 1,254 deals were made for total amount of KZT213,159.0m. In comparison with previous month a turnover in the sector increased by 11.98%.
