KEGOC announces full repayment by Uzbekenergo of principal debt to KEGOC under electricity supply and power control contracts for 2011-2017

These contracts were concluded to maintain reliable and stable parallel operation of the Unified Electric Power System of Kazakhstan and the power system of Uzbekistan. However over the past few years there have been several defaults on the part of the power system of Uzbekistan. But as a result of KEGOC's efforts, this issue was resolved positively. The total amount of principal repaid by Uzbekenergo for 2011-2017 is about USD 143 million. Now the collaboration of KEGOC and Uzbekenergo has reached a new qualitative level.
