/IRBIS, Feb 4, 02/ - Today Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) began
transmitting trades in repo sector through information system of REUTERS in
real time. The transmission covers the sector of the Exchange where the
deals are made using the main trade mode of KASE - electronic counter
trades (so called automatic repo). By the results of January 68.4% of all repo
deals of the Exchange were made in this sector.
The page
is maintained automatically through updating the
data of the trade system every 10 seconds (the interval can be reduced if
necessary).
The page reflects prices and volumes of trades for all instruments of the
sector:
- volumes and current bid an offer prices (direct and reverse repo
quotations);
- minimum and maximum prices for a day on concluded deals;
- repo rates on the last concluded deals;
- weighted average rate calculated based on deals concluded from the
beginning of the day;
- total volume of repo opening transactions on each instrument (term).
Besides, the indicator of the Exchange TONIA (Tenge OverNight Index
Average) is displayed in real time on the page, which can be compared with
similar indicator of previous day.
Soon another page will be opened in REUTERS system for repo market,
where the users can use RIC (Reuters Information Code). It makes historical
data on automatic repo sector available, as well as the graphs.
Now, KASE transmits foreign currency trades and euronotes of
Kazakhstan in real time through REUTERS. Several pages are
used to transmit CS and GS trades with some delay.
