/KASE, Jan 28, 02/ - In compliance with listing requirements of Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) Bank TuranAlem OJSC (Almaty) presented to the exchange an extract from the shareholders register as of January 01,2002. The register is maintained by Kazregister LLP (Almaty). According to the extract on the mentioned date announced and paid capital of the bank accounted for 17,137,450 th. tenge and was issued in the form 1,713,745 inscribed shares with face value of 10,000 tenge, including 1,287,023 common shares (KZ1C34920013) and 426,722 privileged shares (KZ1P34920614). A share exceeding 5% of paid authorized capital of the bank for the mentioned date belonged to (share in a charter capital and stocks number are given): - ST-ACTIVE LLP (Almaty) - 6.97% or 119,364 common shares; - Melkombinat LTD LLP (Almaty) - 6.64% or 113,806 common shares; - Yassy OJSC (Turkestan, Southern Kazakhstan oblast0 - 6.55% or 112,229 common shares; - SMKK LLP (Semipalatinsk) - 5.89% or 100,979 common shares; - Central depositary of securities CJSC (Almaty) as a nominal holder - 8.48% или 145,321 common share; - Subsidiary bank of ABN AMRO BANK KAZAKHSTAN (Almaty) as a nominal holder - 13.75% or 235,622 privileged shares. Other shareholders owned 44.96% of authorized capital or 579,521 common share and 191,100 privileged shares of the bank. Today at KASE following securities of Bank TuranAlem OJSC are traded under category "A": - From September 09,1999 - common inscribed shares (trade code - BTAS); - From February 19, 2001 - coupon-subordinated bonds of the first issue (KZ2CUY08A320, trade code - BTASb1, $100; $20m; Feb 19,01 - Feb 19,09; semiannual coupon at 12.0% APR). It's worth to mention that from July 19,2001 following euronotes are under category "A" of official list of securities of KASE (XS0131688227, trade code - BTASe1, $100; Jun 28,01 - Jun 28,04; semiannual coupon at 11.5% APR), which were issued by subsidiary of Bank TuranAlem OJSC - - TuranAlem Finance B.V. (Rotterdam, Netherlands) under 100% guarantee of the bank.
