KazTransOil CJSC informed KASE about first coupon payment on euronotes

/IRBIS, Jan 08, 02/ - Today KazTransOil CJSC (Astana) informed the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) that according to terms of company's euronotes issue (XS0132391938; official list of KASE securities of category "А"; trade code KZTOe1; Jul 06.01 - Jul 06.06; $150.0m; semiannual coupon at 8.5% APR) KazTransOil CJSC fully performed all its obligations with respect to bondholders on first coupon payment. The payment was made through purchasing agent of KazTransOil CJSC Chase Manhattan Bank. There is no information on amount and actual date of payment in the issuer's letter (settlement date is a day off January 06,2002).
