/IRBIS, Jan 3, 02/ - In 2001 volume of transactions with futures contracts for at Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) reached $520,914.0 th. (KZT79,707.6m) and increased relative to last year 7.79 times. In 2000 volume of deals in this sector of the market didn't exceed $66,870.0 th. (KZT10,009.0m). All deals of 2001 concerned non-delivery future contracts for USD1,000 and were made by trades participants in December. By the end of the year there were no open positions on futures at KASE.
