Weekly net borrowing balance of Finance Ministry on domestic GS market is negative KZT1,626.2m, in 2001 - negative KZT20.1bn

/IRBIS, Dec 29, 01/ - The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan (MOF) ended the last week (December 24 - 31) of the year 2001 on domestic GS primary market with following parameters. At the volume of its debt servicing and maturity of KZT1,854.2m the issuer attracted KZT228.0m at one auction. Therefore, the net borrowing balance of the Ministry of Finance on domestic market according to week results totaled negative KZT1,626.2m. By preliminary data of IRBIS, Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan closed the year on GS market (including servicing of euronotes) with negative balance of at KZT20.1bn.
