Kaztransoil CJSC handed assets of Atyrau department of water preparation and supply in communal ownership of Atyrau oblast

/IRBIS, Dec 21, 01/ - On December 20 of current year Kaztransoil CJSC (Astana), bonds and shares of which are traded currently at Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) under category "A" of official list of securities, handed assets of Atyrau department of water preparation and supply (ADWPS) into communal ownership of Atyrua oblast. It is said in the press release of the company distributed today. So far ADWPS has been the structural division of western branch of Kazatransoil CJSC. Residual value of fixed assets of ADWPS according to data on December 01,2001 is estimated by Kaztransoil CJSC as 400m tenge. It includes buildings, construction, equipment, machinery, transmission equipment, transport etc. The system of drink water supply includes water pipe "Atyrau-Makat" with the length of more than 380km, at which Ural water supply is realized to "oil" villages Dossor and Makat and also to treatment plants in Atyrau. "The company transfers to Atyrau oblast effective, technically correct production where system work on improvement of water quality was made, repair and maintenance works were realized yearly and mechanisms on uninterrupted water supply to population were made", is said in the press release. Taking into account meaning of ADWPS and also on the initiative of Atyrau oblast akimat, Kaztransoil CJSC administration decided about transfer of this object without compensation.
