Bank TuranAlem OJSC (Kazakhstan) received the specialist status of TuranAlem Finance B.V. (Netherlands) euronotes at KASE

/KASE, Dec 14, 01/ - From December 19, 2001, by the decision of the Board of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) based on presented application Bank TuranAlem OJSC (Almaty) was granted a specialist status for euronotes (XS0131688227, official list of KASE of category "A",BTASe1, $100m, Jun 28,01-Jun 28,04, semiannual coupon 11.5%) of TuranAlem Finance B.V. (Rotterdam, Netherlands Kingdom) issued under full guarantee of the founder - Bank TuranAlem OJSC. Minimum volume of mandatory quotations for the specialist - 50,000 US dollars at face value of bonds. Currently TuranAlem Securities LLP (Almaty) and Kazcommerc Securities OJSC (Almaty) perform on BTASe1 obligations of the specialist at KASE. Several specialists of one security can work at the exchange simultaneously. According to internal normative act of KASE "Specification of market- maker status for members of the Exchange under categories "P" and "Н" (Specification), specialist of securities at KASE differs from the market- maker by more strict requirements, which are set by the exchange relative to volume of mandatory quotation and especially upon spreads of mandatory quotations. The latter should not exceed three percent from price of quotation on buying, if the Exchange council doesn't specify another spread. For market-makers there is a similar requirement - 100% of quotation price on purchase.
