In January 2017 volume of foreign currencies trades on KASE decreased by 0.6 % and made up KZT5.6 trln ($17.0 bn)

/KASE, February 6, 2017/ – In January 2017 the volume of foreign currencies trades on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), including currency swap transactions, made up KZT5,618.1 bn (equivalent of USD16,994.7 mln) and decreased by 0.6 % (increased by 10.6 % in dollar terms) against the same period of 2016. In comparison with December 2016 the trades volume increased by 41.2 % (42.0% in dollar terms).
